The seats in my bus were made by a company called Fainsa out of Spain. Any suggestions on how to remove the head rests from the seats? I have three extra sets of seats and I want to swap a head rest between two seats before I get rid of the extra seats. |

Brian - On many commercial bus seats, you've got a plastic panel on the back of the upright. Usually, by taking that panel off, you can access the zippers/velcro that hold on the upholstery. Even if you don't have the plastic panel, you need to get inside the seatback. The seats that I've worked on had retainer "E" clips holding the headrests in place. Pop off the clips and then pull up on the headrest to remove. Some seats are like our cars - there's a pushbutton on the side of the plastic guide that the headrest slides up and down on, and you have to push and hold that button while you're removing the headrest. FWIW & HTH. . .

Unfortunately, there is no plastic panel or any sort of opening on the backs of the seats. I couldn't even figure out how the seat sover would come off for replacement. The headrest fabric covers are velcroed on. I am going to call MCI tech support and ask them as they support the Dina Viaggio. (Why didn't I think of this yesterday?) |
