It's finally in place, but not bolted down yet. I'm glad it slid in smoothly as I vowed to not stop to eat (it's 2:30PM) till it was in place. So, as I sit here eating Thanksgiving dinner, (Arby Melt, fat free cottage cheese and brown beans) I'm wondering how many others have put in some time on their coaches today. Oh, I'm not finished, soon as dinner settles I'll work till dark, weather permitting. I't started raining 3 times today while I was out, but I ignored it so it quit. I sold the old radiator core at the scrap yard for $104 (or it would have just been brown beans for dinner). Pretty nice rebate. I have had help on this project, the Fedex driver helped me slide the new core out of the back of his truck onto the back of mine. I hope everyone has a really GREAT Thanksgiving. Ed |

I'm putting rivets on the new skin on my coach and fixing the new porch LED lights today. Later this week I'll remove the front wheel/drum to grease the S-cam. Taking a break now to watch some football. Happy Thanksgiving to all! |

Working on finishing the ProHeat heating system in our bus. After 8 years, we decided we should have a heat source in our bus. But hey, it is 80 degrees out, so no hurry LOL. Jack |

I fired the big detroit up this morning (26 degrees) w/o any plug in. Started up and took the kids and grandkids for a spin in the big empty bus. A fine time was had by all! |

I measured windows (got the first few from Peninsula and they're *sweeet*!), scraped 30 years worth of grime out of the electrical compartment, and removed the "accordion" transit doors. A good day! |

Because our Eagle is sitting outside with the front covered up, I decided to DO NOTHING! It has been snowing all day. Enjoyed a great Thanksgiving dinner and watched some football. Decided to take a break for a change. |

Didn't really work on it, but decided that big front bay will be the "Christmas gift safe" to hide stuff in. Cliff |

After almost a month up on ramps, I finished the work on the air system (for now), clapped my hands, eased her down, hooked her back up, patted myself on the back for a 'good job', and went to eat grub with relatives. And guys, I've said it a million times, but I'm *very* grateful for your guidance throughout the last four years. |

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving...mine was ok but I'm thankful I was able to open my eyes! There for a while I wasn't sure if I would! Ace |

Have been discussing floorplans with my better half. Kris has been reading and highlighting all the books on layouts that I bought and read. Nobody does side isles as near as we can tell so all fresh floorplan. |

Lee, my bus has side isle and if I were building another I would do it again. My isle is in the side from the front of the bus and center in the back. No lost space |

Some people have looked at our layout and said it is a center/side isle as it has both. It starts in the center going into the bath but turns to a side isle as it goes into the BR. We never use the Br door when sleeping because it has a privacy wall. Nobody can see all the way thru from the front as you would with a complete center isle! We like it and it works out great for us so far! Ace |

I took the day before and the day after to work like a dog! I don't get to work on it other times cause we are out of town. At this rate it should take 3 years to complete. Dan www.keetonsong.com/photos.cfm |
