Our 1944 6-71 worked just fine for close to 5000 miles of cruising "The Great Loop". The trip was great although fuel in Canada is always expensive (to pay for the failing medical setup) we got roughly 8mph at 2.5 to 3 gph (gallons per hour). 4 months of calm waters that were mostly drinkable. After Chicago tho and down the Illionois , Mississippi , and Ten Tom the water was poorer. Mucho free Wi Fi along the route. FF |
