This is 8 by 21ft and all stainless steel. The hand rails stay up top and just fold down. The ladder is 3 piece and stows in the basement. Although it is quite the conversation piece and we are offered many things for access at the races Deb is afraid of heights, only been up there once, does not like the way it looks and I would be willing to trade it for whatever. No reasonable offers refused. It really needs some type of dumb waiter, it's very hard to climb up with a beer, especially late in the day. Can dismantle and possibly deliver. |

I'm hoping to have something like that one of these days but since I am just starting the conversion on my Eagle, that is a long way off. If I had something to offer in trade I might try to grab it anyway just for the future. But I don't. Good luck with it. I'm sure someone will want it. |

I'd like a deck on the roof of my MC-5B, but with all the junk on the roof, mine will have to be aft of the rear A/C. Any photos of how you attached it to the roof?

I don't think i would want to climb up and down on that little ladder. Any way to make a stairway that could be stored below when not in use? |

I might be interested in this, but would be worried about the weight since it is stainless. I tried to email you via the email address in your profile, but apparently that email is not valid. |

Wow Surprising response. Dale thanks for the encouraging words. John you are correct. The bus has to be designed with the deck in mind. The builder, Hickox, put it on there from new. Has to have Cruise-air or some fashion of basement cooling in addition to many other considerations, or it could be reconstructed on another camper smaller. I would guess that it will end up in the hands of someone who is just starting a conversion or someone who would be willing to use just some of it. John I appreciate your comments too. It's quite heavy duty but the rungs could use a non-skid product. We have a 200+ pound friend that tested the ladder, it did not budge. We also have a large, square, smoked glass skylight/roof hatch in the kitchen that also accepts a ladder. Brian all the railings are stainless but I believe the decking is alum. diamond plate. Just guessing I would be surprised if it all weighed 1000lbs. I have not ever looked under the deck so I do not know what is supporting it and attaching it to the roof. That could be significant. I have been wanting to remove a section of skirt to take a peek. Call me anytime 708 243 7871 Here is what the rails hinge and lock to and how the thing looks underway.
