Hi Folks,

Chuck Lott emailed me about the Service Manual he has for sale. The numbers on his are X5324. Mine has an X5818 on the cover, which shows to be printed in '58. Would his '53 printed manual be more friendly to my '53 bus? Anything happen from '53 to '58 that might be different?? Did they have different Service and Maintenance Manuals??

Guess I'm just wondering if I'd be better off with a printed in '53 manual.

Thanks..........Jamo

Keep 'em both -

One in the bus, one on the shelf in the home library.

I have three for my 4106. . . they're a good investment.

FWIW & HTH. . .

Good point, RJ...

So, Chuck...will you ship it to me for the $50? If so, would you like a check, USPS MO, PayPal??

I'll send you an email when I get home tonight (I've got Ski Patrol duty today & running late...bummer, eh?). Consider it sold, and I'm NOT giving up my much newer '58. Ha...

Thanks..........Jamo

If you go to the website PD4104.com you'll be able to download several manuals. They are in Acrobat Reader PDF format.

671 engine manual
4104 maintenance manual
4104 operators manual
4104 parts manual
Electrical schematics
And a few other things.

Thanks Zimtok,

I did download (& print) the operator's manual from that site, but to print off the service manual?? Take more than the 50 bucks in roadtrip and $$$ for printer ink cartridges. Guess I'll go with Chuck's OEM book.

Appreciate the info though...

Tim, if you carry your computer in your bus, you might consider keeping them on your hard disk, too - you may wish to burn one (or a section) to a CD if necessary for a specific task. I like back-ups!
