so long story short, we got towed to a shop(central DDA in springfield, mo) on october 28th because we weren't building any air. we thought it was just the air compressor,so the band rented a van and took the trailer, and i was supposed to meet them in detroit a few days later. turns out it was in need of a total out of frame rebuild. so i ended up living at the shop in their yard on the bus for 23 DAYS while all of this was completed(although i will say that i learned more about 2 strokes there than in my entire life). in my boredom i took some pics that i thought i would share with you guys for the heck of it. theyre nothing spectacular, but its something new to look at none the less. enjoy! community.webshots.com/user/kylepesely kyle in norcal 1980 Eagle 10 #30223 |

Kyle, What made them think you needed a rebuild? How many miles do you have on the bus? John |

john, well we had HUGE amounts of oil coming out the blower box drains, and also lots of burnt oil coming out the exhaust(due to it being in the cylinders and getting combusted), which is what helped kill the turbo, and they werent able to work on it with the motor in the bus, so it had to come out anyway, and then once we got it out and took the covers off(As you can see in the pics) it was decided to rebuild at the advice of their 2-stroke guy randy. it runs great now, and we were able to turn up the horsepower from a lame 285 to a healthy 330. kyle |

the band is a modern rock style. good stuff. you can check them out @: myspace.com/nationalproduct as far as the HP, all they did was put bigger injectors in it. oh, and the Oneonta destination was put there by me. i was just poking around and seeing all the different cities on the sign. haha. kyle in norcal |
