JUST BROUGHT HOME MY GM 3101 WITH A 440 CONVERSON ON THE MOTOR AND TRANS IM A BODY MAN PAINTER AND CAN HELP WITH ANY QUISTIONS THIS IS MY FIRST THREAD WANT TO SEE IF IT WORKS

Welcome to the GMC owners nuts, I don't even know what a 3101 is but will do some research.

This must be one of the oldest GM buses on the board from the looks of it?

1958 I THINK ITS A 3101 OR 3102 28 FT ALL GM EXCEPT FOR MOPAR DRIVE TRAIN ON A V DRIVE INTERIOR WAS DONE BY A CABINET MAKER I STILL NEED TO UPGRADE 12 VOLT SYS ,CONVERTER ETC HAVE LEARNED ALOT FROM YOUR FOREM AND IM HOOKED IM A AUTO APPRAISER LOOKIN TO WORK THE EAST COAST WHEN THE WEATHER GOES BAD WILL BE LIVING FULLTIME HOPEFULLY THIS SUMMER THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES

I had a 3101, it was a 1950, had a 6 cyl gas engine with hydramatic transmission, was agreat ole ride and ran for yrs and yrs, havent seen one in a long time

If you can post the VIN on your coach, we can tell you who the lucky first owner was. It should be something like PD3101-xxxx or TD3101-xxxx. Fill in the missing numbers for us. . .

Thanks for posting the VIN info.

From what I can find, TGH3102-915 was part of a three bus order (914, 915, 916) delivered new in August of 1958 to the University of California at Berkley.
