From Fleet Owner Dec 2007-DDC rolls out world engine.The new DD15 engine is expected to fully replace the series 60 by 2010. Beginning in March 08 the DD15 14.8 litre rated at 450hp and 1550 to 1650 torque to be released. Another version will have 560hp and 1750 to 1850 torque. These engines are able to maintain peak torque between 800 to 900 rpm and provide a 5% decrease in fuel consumption over the 60 series. Uses compound turbocharging. A 12.9 version, DD13 to be released in Jan. 09 and a 15.6 litre to be released first quarter in 2010. These engines have been in design since 2001. Will be able to meet future tightening emission requirements.

alright chessie whar have u been sneaking in to find that out? Now what problems will go along with swapping out 8v's in coaches? I hate emission control don't you? I do like the HP and torque at 800-900 rpm> I ain;t never run a dd at that r's. Gosh it must be hookd to an automatic too LOL
