I am on my way to Jack's meet and have a broken turbo header pipe on my 1984 Eagle 10 6V92 turbo. I will call Jefferson Bus tomorrow if they are open and have it over nighted. It is the driver's side one with the flexible middle section. I tried all day yesterday to put some parts together for a temporary fix. No luck because of the holidays. QUESTION? Are there any other places to call for the part if Jefferson is close on Monday? E-mail {kristy.dawes@att.net} [1700 miles to go]

Dennis, you will have to go to a Detroit Dealer to buy that I doubt if Jeff will have it. I have one for a 8v92 but I am in AZ.some muffler shops can fix it also

If you can't locate one, you could find a good welding shop for a temp fix.

Five years ago, I replaced the same turbo pipe and the other side four years ago. They both came from Jefferson. The flange broke off and when I removed the pipe the other end was partly broken off. I tried Detroit Diesel, truck muffler shop, and welding shop. The problem is the holidays and most are closed till next Wednesday. What I am looking for are places to call tomorrow if Jefferson is closed to order the part. Any ideas? I am in Portland, Maine at my daughter's house and luckly not on the side of the road. Have a nice holiday.

Give Dick Lamb at Custom Land Yachts a call, he will know everyone in that area that can help.
He’s in Windham #(207) 892-3885.
You can also try Walt at NAPA in Windham, ME. # (207) 892- 3221.

Both of them have helped me in the past. I stop in to see them every time I go to Maine.

Repaired!! A fellow busnut took one off his MCI and we cut the flanges off his pipe and welded them on mine for a perfect fit. Thanks for the contacts.
