Still at it, the steel work is slow going. I am restoring the drive train as I go so work on the slide outs is slow. Working on the 2nd now finally. Hopefully by the end of the year all steel work will be done and the skin back on. It sure will be nice to have somthing to hold in the heat next winter.

I can't help myself I still like Eagles, nothing any better than a well kept Eagle, Steve I was going through your site again, I could use your energy right about now.....LOL....man you are flying through that bus......i'm impressed with your slideout assemblies, next time take some different angles, its coming along fine! I hate stealing someone's topic, but Eagles are just the best looking bus around, classic lines!

LB, could you send that photos email back my way? I must have had to long of a day as I opened it then inadvertently deleteted it without getting to read it.
Pat, to funny I had just checked your site before jumping on here to see whats up. Sorry about stealing that pair of hinges from off your shelf there buddy but I couldnt help myself...lol... Gary started that ideal and the pics of your door finished it. I hope the single digit temps last week didnt slow you down as much as me. How bout some pics of the drivers side there, the suspence is killing me down here. I check your site for updates atleast twice daily.
I appreciate the compliments guys. It is starting to get easier now that I dont have so much rust to cut out (or let fall out) now. I still think Its got a long way to go to call it a bus again though. .....lol....

Steve just when I thought things were getting better my Mom died Dec 25th, things again are just settling down the family spent much of Dec in a Hospice facility here, Mom was a great Mom, her battle with alzheimers finally for her ended! I don't think I've ever experienced anything so dehumanizing as what she went through in the last year of her life. Steve or anyone for that matter that sees something that I may have used on the bus is totally welcomed to it. Most of what I ended up doing I probably found on here or the other site from really great idea's that other bus nuts came up with! Luvrbus, buddy i sure hate imposing on your thread forgive me again! |
