I am sure this website has been around for awhile. I might even have seen it before and not paid attention. Nonetheless, I ran across it tonight and enjoyed looking at all the photos of some of the good old buses. Just a simple site with lots of bus photos - that's all. Most are from Canadian lines. But a nice variety of different models. If you have never seen it before - thought a few people might get a kick out of seeing it and some of the old photos. One of my favorites is seeing the Baby Fishbowl. Short Fishbowl It can't be longer than 30ft if that it seems and has a nice back window. Not sure how many they made of these? back window Forgotten how much I like the old fishbowls. FYI - I like all the buses. Especially the ones that run good, don't need a large promissory note, don't need a lot of endless work and don't break down that much. :-) On the site you'll find some PreVost, some good old GM's, there are some MC5's, 7's, etc. and even some Eagles. What the heck is this Looks like a 60ft PreVost. Here's a nice MCI5A Now that's a nice bus! Here is a nice Buffalo 4905 Good lookin bus there. Here's a nice 5C Here's a MCI4 A MCI Courier 96? wow. love that logo. A MCI6 and MCI7 and here's a interesting and stylish Western Flyer Canuck Anyway, if you haven't seen it or been a while since you been there, hope you get a few minutes of enjoyment - as I did. busdrawings.com Oh, I almost left out one of the my other favorites! 1996 Foremost Industries Canadian "SnoCoach" which comes with a Series 50 but they also have them with a 6V92TA :-) Enjoy!! Hi DD, I have to admit, I've never seen that web site before. What a great stroll down memory lane! The "what the heck" bus is, in fact, a 60' Prevost H5-60 artic, which, of course, you've already seen in the "The Bus Stops Here" picture gallery section of BNO, correct? (ahem!) Wouldn't it be fun to acquire one of those SnowCoach's? I can see me driving into one of Jack's Busin' parties in Florida in THAT!! Thanks very much for taking the time to point us to this wonderful web site. Ian www.busnut.com |

Ian, If you drove into our Bussin' rally in that, you could probably make some "fuel money" taking people on tours of the Everglades. The would make one GREAT swamp buggy. Jack |

Ian. Thanks. Of course I've seen that PreVost in The Bus Stops Here! :-) Actually I was looking around there again and enjoyed looking at those photos too. I started - but hopefully, more with time, I can go through the Archives more - as I think most people don't realize it - but there is a ton of great information in there! - Thanks to you and all the fantastic busnuts who contributed great posts and their time. As a sidenote: It's a long story and certainly not a SnoCoach, but my neighbor [oddly enough] just recently sold a pretty incredible bus [which I didn't buy - long story] that I would have loved to take someplace like Bussin 2009. I didn't get it, long story short, kickin myself, but I did take some photos of it and got some history. So I'll try to post that some other day down the road. Thanks for the board. not too many of these around. (Message edited by design_dog on January 15, 2008) (Message edited by design_dog on January 15, 2008) |

I checked out that site month or so ago. I was looking to get a line drawing of the side view of a Prevost Champion, so I could fiddle around with some color schemes. Seems he took that part of the site down cuz too many folks were boosting them and not giving him credit. I had a lot of fun looking through the site though. |

The prevost is 60' long and is a 72 passenger bus. Serial # 1 of that bus is in Valrico, FL. It is in service as a tour bus with Antwhere Tours of FL. It is powered by a mid engine 92-12 DD. |

O.k. Flashback revisited. Finally had a chance to come back to this. Jeffrey - When you mentioned Bus Drawings I thought you meant some other Bus Drawings that I had seen before. So I looked around and did some research and sure enough, I found the drawings you were talking about! Toronto Transits THESE ARE BRILLIANT! Peter McLaughlin is his name. Sounds like there were more because I don't see the Prevost. These are for Toronto Transit. It's too bad he took them down because they are fantastic. How anyone could not give him credit is beyond me. Oddly though, they were not the drawings I was thinking you were talking about that I had seen. Was thinking of making a separate post. The ones I thought you were talking about are these: PAPERBUSES These drawings are fantastic! Maybe a few people have seen them before. I used the MC8 one to help reference my 3d model. IF ANYONE HAS KIDS OR GRANDKIDS what a great way to print them out and make a PAPER BUS!!! One last link. I just ran across this and it sure is a nice classic photo. Really liked it. '48 MCI Greyhound Courier Good bus stuff! forgot one last one. '57 GMC TDH 4512 Bus. That's odd. Almost looks like the thumbnail I posted earlier. :-) Only the paint is slightly better. __ But wait there is more! Darn - I'm not done. [I truly believe this next link deserves a post all on it's own! These PAPERBUSES are fantastic.] I found the PAPERBUSES that someone had posted on WebShots. When I saw them I thought they were fantastic. I figured, that maybe other people or busnuts have seen them before. If you haven't - they are a treat. -- But what I didn't know is the Company / website behind them. So sure enough - I found the original creators website -- and WOW. PAPERBUSES GALORE! THE BEST PART IS You can view, download and print the paper bus files for free! Permission granted to print and make tons of buses. They have lots of models. They are great! PAPER BUS CONNECTION Everybody get their Grandkids to make a PAPERBUS! I didn't see a Prevost yet, but I found a Leyland Atlantean AN68 Training bus. |

Oh. I did find a Neoplan Spaceliner, but it's the disco version. They have a unpainted Skyliner though. http://www.harrykwan.com/models/neomegaspaceliner.htm http://www.harrykwan.com/models/Europe.html |
