I am currently replacing my 8v71 with a 6v92 in a MC4. The 6v92 needs a "standing" leg style water pump like the 8v71 had because of the motor mount arrangement. I want to retain the oil cooler (5106123),but need the elbow and water pump. Does any one know what the part numbers would be for the pump and the housing that goes with it. Thanks. |

I think it's the same pump as on your 8v71 |

I could probably use the 8v71 water pump. One of the legs (the one to the cooler) is a little smaller. Also,the elbow will not work off the 8v71 as it is a 3 bolt pattern and the 6v92 has a 4 bolt pattern. Thanks for the info. |

I bought a new water pump from Johnson and Towers near Atlantic City NJ ad the item number they used was R23506602 - cost was $220.86 back in June of 2007. Hope this helps.
