We have a 120V in our current conversion and want a tankless system in the new conversion. Love those long hot showers! What brand and type? Standing pilot or electronic ignition? Any brands/model to stay away from? Installation tips? Thanks, Don E

Ours is a Paloma unit. I do not know the specs on it and have seen bigger ones. I think Bosh makes one also that is available at Home Depot. If I were looking, I would compare specs with a particular eye on max flow.

Ive got a Precision Temp RV-500.
Its a tankless unit made for rv's.
real easy to install.has a flow switch in it,
so when you turn on the hot water you have hot water now.
its get i might have to think about putting in bigger tanks ha ha.
It has a electronic ignition and only weighs
27.5 pounds.I think its the best out there,
but thats my opinion.
There web site: www.precisiontemp.com
Hope it helps

Using the Bosch unit here Boss..!
Installed it in a small Mfg. plant as a test before it went into the 4106.
It supplied 2 sinks and a shower with all the HOT water in the world. At 5pm it got a 20 minute workout from the 5 employees, and never broke a sweat. Mine is a full time pilot, is all stainless inside and takes up about 3sq.ft. of WALL space, weight is about 12 lbs, and would work for 2 weeks under the above conditions on a 25# propane can.
It was like buying a trust account, the front end cost was a lump in the throat,...ah! but a HOTEL shower everyday for over a year melted that lump away in nothing flat. :) :)
