Has any one had any experience with the JDM Coachbrite mirror polish material that was advertised in Bus Conversion Mag?

Can you still get it?

What other off the shelf brand names should I look for?

Previous postings talked about Grainger but can't be sure exactly which compound(s) I should be getting and what quantity.

Thanks,
Steve Gibbs

I purchased JDM Coachbright about a year ago and found it to be excellent. Works fantastically. I called them last fall for another tub (a gallon I believe) and they told me they are no longer in business. Seems when someone bought the product, it did such a fantastic job that no one ever reordered - it was a one shot sale and for that reason they quit making(?) and selling it.

This January I attended the Tampa RV Super Show and met a fellow by the name of Doug Busch. He sells all kinds of polish compounds buffing pads and more importantly, the correct information on how to. Only trouble is, I can't find his brochure! I was told he also attends the FMCA rallies. perhaps another busnut may have info on him.I purchased everything I needed at the time and after a lot of effort I have a Beautiful mirror finished SS MCI 9

From an article on polishing aluminum siding on page 3 in the Mar/Apr 2002 issue of "The Coach-Builder's Bulletin," he is Ted Busch at Busch Enterprises, 908 Cochran St., Statesville, NC 28677, 704-878-2067.

George,

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure I'm ready to do this myself but I've done everything else, seems silly to hire someone.

Thanks,
Steve G.
