This is a KOA campground that is really in the middle of a pecan tree area, just off I-10. The rate was $20.00 and I visited it in December 2007. Very nice hosts for the place, which had only one (1) other guest at the time I visited. The area is also used by hunters to park their RV. Very quiet and had multiple deer sitings during our overnight stay. Only 30 amp service, but has water/sewer and pull through sites. It is a good place to stay for the night in route to your destination. There is no cell phone service due to its location, but the hosts have a phone that can be used.
