As it was said before, the price will be more of a determining factor more than anything else. If the price is over the moon, it won't be worth it. If the price is reasonable, well that is something else. If the price is scrap price, one has to wonder what is wrong that you are not seeing. Mark O. Castle Rock, WA |

James, If you want to get rid of that nasty stuff, grind and use a grinder with a cupped wire wheel to get it clean. Then use Por 15 to cover it up. I have not used it yet, but Auto Paint Boads that I frequent swear by the stuff. Or you could use the same process mentioned above, use Naval Jelly then prime and paint to your wishes. Other Rust inhibitors out there are not good under paint and/or primer. Of course to do it properly would be to remove and replace with new steel. HTH, Paul |

Hi James, Check over the baggage doors for the rust there. (sit in the bay and check above the doors) There seems to be a lot of rust in those baggage compartments.(although it may be surface) Do you have an history on the bus? What are you looking for and what is your budget? I have a friend in Langley who is going to list his three "extra" buses soon. (MC9, 1986 MC102A2 and an 1986 Eagle) Send me a PM if you are interested and I will pass his info along. Tim |
