I@N first of all I appoligize for using this board as a go between but it's the only way I can communicate with the other side! Delete it or any part of it as you see fit! Again thank you one (Bob) and all for the support you have shown. I understand from the emails and phone calls I have received that a lot of you went to bat in my honor. It's good to know that a bus community can work together as a family to make things happen in a rational manner. Where lies the problem! You see, I first received what I thought was a hoax, text message. Only thing it really mentioned was something about Richard. We all know who he is right? LOL Anyway I replied and asked who it was. The reply was it was Nick Badame! He eventually emailed me and asked me what I wanted him to do. Now keep in mind, to this point, I had no idea as to what was happening over there since I cannot log on and read any part of it. Bob did call me and told me he had started a poll but I had forgotten all about it during the day until more phone calls came in from you guys that evening! After being read to by some friends, I was starting to pice together the puzzle! Ok great! I have received another email from Nick but it was more of a second request of what I wanted him to do. I replied to him that I had no idea and that he was the boss and he does what he has to do. I laso stated that I have accepted my punishment for whatever reason it was, and went on with my life. Yes it's nice to be able to see and read what the other side is doing from time to time but since being banned I haven't dwelled on the fact that I'm not there or able to be there due to one or more singles that can't stand me. I have HERE I consider home and the RVNET as a second home. I enjoy ALL the boards, not just ONE! Now today I recieved a call from another friend who obviously has been in contact with Nick since this started. He (Bob) told me that I was free to log on to the MAK board, IF I wanted to. After a chuckle I told him that I would maybe try when Susan got home with her laptop since I am down to using my blackberry to even get here. Goes to show the caliber of some but it is what it is! I think it would make those few I can count on one hand, very happy individuals and I know who they are if I wasn't allowed back! I know for a fact that me bieng banned has opened a vast majority of eyes of those that were very closed because SOME things have chjaged because of it, and it also has enlightened myself to know I have SO many friends and aqaintences in this hobby whether you want to belive that or not! I do have a special request to those moderators in charge that hold the titles. If your willing to accept me back IN as they say, I feel you should lift the banning of ALL the other members you have banned or run off for whatever reason/s! I know there are others so why not do a good thing and let them ALL back in! If they stay, they stay, if they choose not to, then so be it! What have YOU lost? I also don't think a poll should have been established to have it come down to all of this over a single individual but hey, what do I know! Oh dear... Well, Ace, seems you got the pot boiling again, and for what, I'll never know... matter of fact, I don't want to know. Gives people a chance to take a lick at me, too. Good, it's helpful for people to vent. Let them get it off their little chests. Here... have a beer...  Anyway, you'll be happy to know that there are no ban-ees on this bulletin board. Even those who really, really deserve to be, and I'm sure they'll pipe in here pretty soon - or do so again on the other board like they did last time. Op, sorry, they already have!! Though, y'know, if I believed that I could please all the people all the time, I'd be a bigger idiot than even THEY think I am. Touche! Ian I haven't had an opportunity to try the Molson but I sure have had my share of Canadian Club. But really would prefer Crown Royal if I could afford it. Ace over the years we have lost a great deal of people from the board that contributed useful information about Coach conversion but the board seems to rather have OT, jokes and birthdays and garbage rather than info about converting coaches. | ||

Jeeze, i had to go check out the slooow board to see whats up. I cant believe the bashing of our board here(Ian's board of course is ours)Its easy to offend someone somehow. Everyone boils over at a different temp, but direct name calling sucks. I just got back from playing a ST Patricks day gig we have played every year for at least 10. Well this year the crowd was 1/2 because of dispute over land by the American Legion club that was bought by the local athletic league. The communitiy is now divided and angry and weaker and poorer in my opinion. This is the board i come to every day and the first thing i check when i sign on. I like to check out the other board for the stuff that doesent make it here and of course the petty stuff is fun! I like Ians attitude sit down relax, crack a brew board! cheers back at ya Ian great board. | ||

Well I@N I for one appreciate all you do and put up with especially from me. Let me say again thanks for the support of THOSE that did and do but to those very few that didn't and don't, since you all seem to know WHY I was banned, could you please let me know? The first thing I asked Nick after he lifted my ban was to inform me explicity on what I had done! I haven't received a reply yet and kind of don't expect one! Everyone seems to know but me like sam4106 who openly states he knowes the reason. Glad he does because I don't! And charley davidson, I still swear that you have me confused with someone else. I would never say anything about ones bad credit. How could I? My own is questionable! What I really think happens is mere talk amongst a few fellows and If one mentions he has a problem than the others use it as fuel. Hey I'm big boy and do what I can to help. You don't need it, don't ask, it's that simple! I try and make friends wherever I go and that's pretty obvious. Those that choose to stay on the other side of the friendship fence can only mean your blind, bored, or really mis-informed! Remember, you only have one ticket for this ride of a lifetime whether it's in a bus or on foot! Make the best of it with everyone you can! Oh and a special note to an old friend, Gary, I know you still visit here and I want you to know, the first thing I asked Bob is how you were doing? If people didn't care, they sure wouyldn't ask! Well Kyle Mr scenic cruiser, let me be the first to tell you that I'm glad your having a big laugh over this! You seem to know so much about what is happening or happened just like everyone else on YOUR side of the fence but it has yet to be seen or heard what it is you supposedly know which in my mind is very little if any! From this point on, I will drop posting on this thread. It appears to be going nowhere and only adding fuel to your game! Ace | ||

Lets just say I find the selective memory of certain parties amusing. Just because a post was removed doesn't mean it was never posted. Concerning what I 'supposedly know' . . .Since I did not save a copy of what was said before it was removed, I cannot repeat it verbatim. However, I do remember the essence of various therads where a certain party made accusations & slanderous statements concerning activites of other busnuts. These accusations included but were not limited to - arson & drug use. Not to mention slamming others for their prefered path in bus conversion journey. For example, I remember a recent thread about sprayfoam insulation - things got personal & ugly towards the one who brought up the flamability issue. But those post were removed, so does that mean it never happened? The past is not a 100% accurate depiction of future events, but if you remember the past, the actions of some are not surprising. . . . . . Just because I don't agree with someone doesn't mean I dislike them or wish any ill will. But, I don't expect many Christmas cards either  |
