We have a group of people who are restoring city transits and trolleys here in Tucson. I stop by occasionally to shoot the breeze as I did today. They are are having problems finding a radiator, transmission and lower radiator mount bar for a 1933 Yellow...these look similar to the one used on AMC cable channels Promo for their old movies, short boxie little buses. Posting this here in hopes that someone has driven past a boneyard with old transits parked for parts OR has knowledge of someone who might be able to help. This is a volunteer org. but they are able and willing to pay for the proper parts. They are in contact with other Org's involved in Transit resto, with no success. So this is a shot in the dark, aimed for info hidden in the weeds! ! I appreciate your taking the time to read this, thank you! |

Garry Dean (919) 383-4780 has a large bus bone yard and knows old buses. If he doesn't have it, he probably knows who does. Jim Stacy |

You might also try Ted Campbell in Williams,Calif.Phone (503)473-5544.Don't even try before 5-6P.M.as he is a real night owl.He owns many old bus's and has restored many more for the movie industry, etc. He is a wealth of knowledge on the older stuff.Hope this is of some help. Chuck |

Thank you Chuck, I will pass this along to the group. My aim in pleading for help here was to add a resource or 2 to the Resto clubs data base if nothing else and this has been accomplished by good people like yourself. |
