Ian... you might recall that I do the newsletter for the Southeast Bus Nuts, so let me add my comments. I don't know what Jack wanted to display in his first post, but his second post contains all the pertinent information, EXCEPT the small detail of the dates. The date for that Thursday is actually the 10th, and so forth, so all the dates are one day off. The official dates are the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th. Often the chapter members choose to show up a day or two or three early to get situated and start things rolling. For the ladies who might be at the rally, note that in addition to the shopping mecca of Concord Mills, the Charlotte Quilt Show will be on the 11th and 12th in nearby Mooresville. |

luvrbus, you'll have to find another GM to park next to, LOL... we can't make this rally as I just had surgery on an ankle and won't be cleared by the doctor by then. Next time, though! Linda |

Hi Jack and Ace, ya'll come on by. No problem with numbers. Got plenty of room. I gave Gary my address so he could Google Map the location. Arrive whenever. As long as you don't get out in the horse pasture, it's pretty much all weather. Definitely all weather around the upper side of the barn. I'm planning on doing Jerry's thing too. We will not be avail for the boat ride. I'll drive the bus over on Friday...T will be along in the afternoon . T's wrapping up a semester, and the only time off during end of 'mester better be due to death...and then only with prior consent! Ya'll feel free to arrive at any time. I'm about 40 minutes from Fleetwood Resort. Easy ride mostly on I-485. My camping rates are the same as last year....FREE! There's no problem with neighbors and such. There's water and limited power. One 30A, and a couple of 20A outlets. I'll let ya'll decide how to divvy them up... Give me a call at 704 650 0235 and I'll give you directions. Weather should be about perfect in April. Good time to be at the "Resort" because there are no significant trees out there. The campground is a huge gravel lot. Organized and clean..with the best showers you'll ever see in a campground. The campground is geared to racecar fans. There are a handful of "resort" style campsites in an area of the CG, but most rallys and such are held near the covered pavillion. JR |
