"NEWS FLASH" Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008 OK we are gearing up for the Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008 that will be held May 16-18th at the KOA I-95 Exit 61, Wade, NC (e-mail me for Flyer and Registration Form). This is on other boards as "North Carolina Rally I-95/ Fayetteville KOA 5/16 - 5/18 2008" --- Renamed to be "Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008". This Gathering of Bus-Nuts (Rally) is a continuation of what started year before last in Timmonsville, SC. Due to the fact that the dozer blade (progress) wiped the campground out and the fact that Dallas and Cat (the host) skipped the country - LOL - (they are hiding out at Busted Knuckles in western TN). Some of us that were there and enjoyed ourselves decided that we did not want a good thing to die thus was born "Bus-Nuts Gathering 2008". If your interest is in sharing bus knowledge and having good clean fun with good people then its time to make your reservation. If you already have made your site reservations then please fill out the Registration Form and e-mail it back to me. If YOU are interested in a T-shirt it will need to be under separate cover. E-mail us and we will get RALLY Registration Form out to you by return e-mail. The campground has a good website: http://www.koa.com/where/nc/33123/ There's a sitemap on their website that shows the campsite layout. HERE IS RESERVATION INFORMATION: Fayetteville KOA --- I-95 - Exit 61 --- Wade, NC 28395 Group Rates apply for one (1) day early and (1) day after. Water/Electric site (30 amp) $ 31.00 per day Full hook-up site (50 amp) $ 36.00 per day Wireless Internet and 70+ CATV is included. Rates are for 2 adults and 2 children. Each attendee to make his/her own Site reservation. Reservations requirements are one night's deposit on Visa or MC. There's an "Online" reservation service listed on their website. DO NOT make your reservation at the KOA website --- YOU WILL NOT get the Rally Rate there. Call “MARTY” at 910-484-5500 for RALLY RATES and book YOUR Site.. Reservations made after May 2, 2008 WILL NOT receive Rally Rates. Righto! The KOA "online" registration format cannot tell whether or not your are a real busnut. So, you'll be parked down in the lower 40 if you resgister online! Be sure and tell Marty that you want to camp with the busnuts. See ya'll there in May! Reckon we'll be trying out the bus at Jack's upcoming Carolina "Fleetwood Resort" gig. Be off and running after that! Still rearranging that weekend..might have to come up on Friday...that's gonna be a long drive...ummm about 40 minutes? Perfect with today's fuel prices! ;) JR JR | ||
