I was wondring if anyone see any disadvanage to changing to the thicker radiators, I was able to find 2 sets of the 8 inch think ones from MC9's with 8V92s. My bus has a 6V92 and one bad radiator. Has anyone ever mixed one 8" thick and one 5" thick. My thought is the biggger the better the cooling.

Rob,
This is one of the things where bigger IS better. Especially if you don't have to pay more for it. Don't worry about one side cooling more than the other either!
Buy the pair, and leave the other one dry until you need it.

Man, it's hard to believe that they are scrapping MC-9's. They just came out a few years ago....uhhhh, I guess that was more than a few years ago; never mind.:-)

Rob, I would be very interested in 2 radiators,if you do buy them. I am doing a conversion(mc4)and have just installed a 6v92 replacing the 8v71. I have had it running but have not run it on the road to see what issues I will have with it. Let me know what you decide. I am not to far away in New York State.Maybe we could work something out. Thanks,Nathan.
