Can one add jake brakes to an 05 with a 8v71. I know you need taller valve covers and it looks as though there is not enough clearance between the air intake and the bulk head above on the right side. The left side appears to be okay. Anyone got this option on theirs.
Thanks ED

Hi Ed,

Do you have 3" there? Thats about how much higher the taller Valve covers are.
My right side was tight but, my taller valve cover had another knock out for the oil fill that was in the way.

Good Luck

No problem, just get higher covers or the cover extenders.
