I've used http://www.coach-net.com/ with no problems. First time use was a tow of our 35,000 lb. bus conversion out of the B.C. Rockies. They sent a LARGE truck with a professional driver that knew exactly what he was doing.

Transmission went out....and thats another expensive story...

Second time, my wife had a flat on our pickup a few miles from the city....one call and a tow truck was there to haul her to the tire shop....

I totally satisfied with their price and service.

Based on the info from this website I called RV america for my insurance on the bus and they had it written through progressive. It came with full roadside assistance and towing.

You can get a roadside ryder on your auto insurance, but no 800 number to call for service.

When the blower drive failed on mine, Good Sam answered the phone in less than a minute, and I do feel an 800 number is VERY important. Their local provider couldn't handle an air brake bus, so they asked if I could find someone local, and they would reimburse me. I did, and they did, the refund check was in my mailbox 5 days after I mailed the receipt! That means they cut and mailed the check the day the bill arrived.
They also called the motel desk we were stranded at a few minutes later, to check on us and make sure we had help coming. They would have sent their Sacramento provider 50 miles to Placerville if we hadn't gotten help. As it turned out, we got a Sacramento based truck who was on his way back from a tow, so he was there in less than 10 minutes.
HTH,
George

in late 2006 i got stranded in philly 3 in the morning on the way back to nc on my international rollback( fuel leakk from rt side tank DOT officer made me park the truck on the spot-BAD AREA)anyway, i had goodsam on my bus and previous rv,so i called.i wasn't able to reach anyone until the following day-7am mt time, and i was on est time! after all of the frustration of having to hunt down a truck that could tow me,( the 2 trucks that they sent couldn't tow a 38' truck)i still had to come out of pocket about $250, and they only had to tow me 4.5 miles!!!! i would definately not recommend GOOD SAM to anyone with a bus. once i finish my bus and put her on the road, hopefully in about 3 months, i will look for something better such as allstate,progressive,coachnet,something.....who knows maybe even that funny speakin gecko...lol

I've been a Good Sam member since '05 and have had exactly the opposite results as Chris both with the bus and my wife's car.

Couldn't be happier with them.
