Hi folks, It was about time for a cleanup! I have just deleted all but 2 months of WoBN's The Flea Market messages, pruned THE BOARD down to about 1,700 messages and sent about 2,000 messages to The Archives. After having had to disable the bbs for a short time, it is now up and operational once again. Enjoy :-) Ian Giffin www.busnut.com |

Great IAN, now if you want to have even more fun, figgure out how to have the box for starting a new conversation to the TOP of the topics pages. Lots of folks don't bother to start a new message so we start out discussing Apples and end up discussing Oranges. Hope it will help, FAST FRED |

Hi FF & RCB, As you know, we've had this conversation before, so it's not the first time I have looked for the answer to this question. I can't find anywhere in the documentation how I can move the "Create New Conversation" box to the top of the page. A number of months ago, I placed an instruction at the top of each Topic page (acting on FF's suggestion) sending a viewer to the bottom of the page to start a new thread. Most have found it, thankfully, to the tune of about 7,700 messages! As usual, guys, thanks for your continued contributions and constructive criticisms. Everything helps and I do care. Warmest regards, Ian www.busnutcom |

Hey, Ian...thanx for the great board. You know best. IF, however there was a way to introduce a new topic under "topics", it might open up discussion that seems to get lost in the bowels of a long thread....as it were. We all seem to find a way to start a new topic, so as they say..."no biggie"....except maybe at Wendy's! (Gosh, we miss you Dave!) RCB |
