Doing some upkeep on the air system, What would a general running down the road air pressure be? 100 - 120 ??? Also what would be a good setting for the least amount of pressure so you could still move? 75 lbs? I have a 66 flxible, thanks

Ken,
Standard settings are for the governor to unload the compressor at about 120, and load about 105.
I would not drive it at less than 100 pounds for a couple of reasons. One is that pressure is the force used to stop the bus, the less brake reservoir pressure you have equals that much less stopping effort in an emergency situation. Secondly, if you are equipped with either DD3s or Maxis, an emergency application will occur automatically when reservoir pressure drops to somewhere in the 75-80 psi range. Once this happens, you can't overcome it by holding the parking knob down either, the inversion valve won't let you cheat, so you are stuck right there until you get air up again. I assume your bus has a protection valve which doesn't allow air to the auxiliaries until brake reservoir pressure is above about 80 psi. With a torsilastic bus, the only things that won't work are air horns, wipers, power doors, clutch assist, etc, your bus won't settle.
HTH,
George

Ken FWIW my Flx cuts out around 128 and comes back in at 105. I will also say I love having a torsalistic bus as I can just shinny under to adjust the slack adjusters without having to block the body like the air bag type

they call that CHEATIN COUNTRY STYLE. A pit, imagine that gee whiz, get with it, go buy the lift that operates with a sky hook, it is a lot cheaper than digging a pit. Gee I never!!

Don't know any Jacks; most of the people I know are Marvins or Freds. Where we live you could just pull over a small sinkhole instead of digging.

I also have a torsalistic bus. (Eagle 15) But I
will never go under my Bus without blocking and
stands. Tires can blow out something can break.
I have to much life to live.
