Hi folks, As promised a few weeks ago, I have been diligently revamping the web site on the new server with new and improved areas to play in. (Seems there's a lot of that going on around here!!) Anyhoo, today marks the re-launch of DieselChat... now called DieselChat II.  Come join us in the room this evening to get used to the cool things it does, like uploading pictures, notification noises, trackable transcripts which we'll be using as we feature experts in the room and turning some great live chat into excellent articles for our Articles of Interest pages. Hi Ian ... I try to log on to the chat room using my forum user name and password and get "No such user found. Make sure the username you have entered is registered." Do I have to re-register for the chat room? Ron | ||

It is possible to monitor the chat while you are browsing the rest of the internet. Open two browser windows/tabs/pages, depending on your browser type, log onto the chat on one of them, and continue surfing on the other. Be sure your speakers are turned on. When someone else joins the chat, and when a post is entered, you will hear the musical noise to alert you to switch pages back to the chat. Most evenings, same as before, there are visitors. It is easy now to go about other business, and the chat will alert you that there is an opportunity to interact. Unfortunately, there have also been people alone on the chat posting questions which can't be answered, since no one will be seeing them. happy coaching! buswarrior | ||
