Just some short comments about Trent Dilfer, Baltimore's QB in this year's Super Bowl. I met Trent back when he was playing for Fresno State - his wife Cassie and my daughter went to high school together - and we were fortunate to be guests at their wedding. I was, and still am, impressed with Trent as a person, not just as an NFL professional. He has always been gracious, kind and polite to my family, and to the other families in his wife's circle of high school and college friends. I am also very impressed with his work with FCA, and the positive role model he portrays while working with those actively involved in this program. Although I'm not an avid football fan, I am pleased at Trent's accomplishment today - he has worked hard to earn that ring, and, for those of us who know him away from the field will attest, "it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!" Sorry |@n (and others), about this post being off-topic - just had to share a little. . . RJ |

R.J., In a world where the news says that every one in five players in the NFL has a criminal record, It is GREAT to hear of a role model as you described. You are fortunate to know him. Wish we had more!!!! IMHO Gene R. |
