In a post on this board a "worm gear adjustment" is refered to. Is there a worm gear adjustment on the #492 Sheppard? If so where and how?

I ASKED ABOUT ADJUSTMENT ON THE SHEPPARD AT SOUTHERN OREGON DIESEL AND THEY SAID "NO".
AS I LOOK AT THE EXPLODED PICTURES OF THIS UNIT
I CAN SEE NONE AND NOTHING ABOUT ADJUSTMENT IS MENTIONED. IF THERE IS IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR FROM WISER HUMAN BEINGS.ONE FELLOW SUGGESTED THAT IF I WOULD CHANGE THE INPUT ONE OR TWO SPLINES OFF CENTER, THEN WHILE GOING STRAIGHT AHEAD IT WOULD BE WORKING ON A TOOTH THAT WASN'T WORN. MAKES SENSE!

BILL: I assume that when Mike Eades had his worked on that they installed a different unit that has adjustment? How about that Mike?

There is no adjustment on the sheppard box , most of them have some play right from the factory new
