Fast Fred posted this URL in another thread, but I found it so full of good info for us bus "converters" that I thought I'd bring it to the top...

I've read most of them in the last couple days. Just starting out with my conversion, it should keep me from making at least some mistakes. Thanks FF

BE sure to remember that this gents fine site , and everything else you read on the boards is simply someones OPINION.

Nothing is cast in stone , and it IS silly to reinvent the wheel.

When DD says to do this, and not to do that , it can carry a bit more weight than just an OPINION.

There are probably a hundred sites about bussing sprinkled on the web , so have fun.

A great bus nuts site with loads of links is;

Oh Of course Fred!! Everything is "opinion"...
I do have to say though, that like many of the "ideas" that I find totally valuable coming from you, some of the ideas I found on this site were great and caused me to immediately rethink some of the things I was doing on my conversion, like an hour after I read that site I was out on my bus unscrewing every self-drilling body screw I'd put into it and putting a tiny bead of urethane caulk under each screwhead before I screwed it back in... it's the little things that you don't think of while you're cutting, sawing, and welding away that are so valuable from sites like this, this board, and folks like yourself who have "been there" and made the "aha"'s a long time ago...
