Wonder if the driver was seeing the "Black Dogs"? About that time of day when they appear... That's a dangerous time of day to be driving. JR |

Driving for long periods thru the night will see all sorts of 'apparitions.' Dogs, tumbleweed, cows in fields...all non-existant and most common around 4 or 5 AM. Everything starts to move. Truckers refer to these things as "Black Dogs"... A tired driver driving just before sunrise is dangerous. That's the time of day for running out of the road. Most people's brains just aren't calibrated to drive safely at that time of day. Obviously, a good many are...they safely get where they are headed. JR |
