How are coaches ventilated after conversion? Are the wall vents retained? I will be re-skinning my 7 and don't want to build a stuffy interior but also would like it vented without having to always have a window or roof vent open. Ideas? Thanks, Roger |

Hard to beat one (or more) of the fan systems or covers that mounts over or replaces a regular RV vent. We leave it open year round with never a worry about rain or moisture. Something like TurboMax or Fantastic Fan. They may not be the most attractive thing you can add to the coach but they work. TurboMax is what we use. Ugly but no worries about leaking or whether the automatic closing system (Fantastic Fan) works or is turned on like during winter storage. Don 4107 |

When a forward window is open the air moves from the rear of the coach out the open front window. So be sure to use J traps on all your waste connections or you will smell S**T. FF |

FF.... curiosity.... I have been thinking about this for a while and frankly do not understand a thing or two. ( Could it really be age? ). Our coach has two front roof vents,no fans in the roof, two in the mid section... both have fans, and two rear, with fans... (exhaust). When we open a front window, the fans run.... How does that meld with your post? Thanx, RCB |

Your vents probably have some permanent ventilation built in so that with the front window open, the low pressure there sucks air through the rear vents at a fast enough rate to make the blades windmill. |

"Our coach has two front roof vents,no fans in the roof, two in the mid section... both have fans, and two rear, with fans... (exhaust). When we open a front window, the fans run...." Sorry, not well stated...what I meant was we turn the fans on in the rear to "effectively" pull air from front to back......OR? RCB |

The front drivers window is in a low pressure area caused by the "bow wave". Probably your roof vents are further aft , out of the low pressure zone. FF |
