I talked to a DMV Enforcement cop the other day about this. He said that the law states that your portable tanks need to be shut off at the valves while under way. He said that he has never questioned a motor home about it, but has mentioned it to a few trailer owners who had open valve cylinders mounted on the tounge of thier trailers. He also said that it is one of those laws that just doesnt get enforced so not many people know it is even a law. The reasoning is that if you are in an accident, they dont want open propane lines spewing LP all over the accident site.
