any of you fellows or ladies out there not using your Rad Shutter Actuator Cylinder out of an Mc8 that you would like to part with, mine has split open due to rust. |

Find an industrial supplier and see what they have in the catalogue for pneumatic actuators in the size you need. Length of throw, style of mounting, close to the same bore, not smaller! You may have to fabricate a new mount, but for the money saved, a bit of drilling/screwing/welding will be worth it. For the rest of us waiting to deal with this problem, pulling off the airline and giving those actuators a healthy shot of air tool oil will extend their useful performance. happy coaching! buswarrior |
