Would anyone know if these would be suitable for a bus conversion. Thanks.

RJ,
Apparently what you are describing are household type CO detectors. If so, they are designed to run on 120 VAC, and on battery for only a short time during power failures. They will work fine in a bus, but take the batts out before you leave it for the winter, or they will be dead, and tend to leak and ruin things. Also, these will cause an inverter with idle feature to run in power all the time, for what that's worth.

Check with Camping World to see what they offer.

You are better off to get CO detectors that operate off 12 volt DC for the reasons mentioned above as well as 12 volt DC models are made for vehicles and can better handle bumps, jolts and vibration associated with traveling. Jack

PS: follow the installation instructions. Installing it in the wrong location can make it useless. Jack
