Hi all, I need help deciding what I should do about this Eagle 10 that I am contemplating purchasing. The Bus has the following; 1. It is a Shell with two RV style windows. 2. It has a 1 1/4" Oak Floor. 3. It has blown in insulation. 4. It has a 6V92TA/5spd Trans, Runs and drives great. 5. It has 6'2" Head room. 6. New Brakes 7. Tires 50 -70% 8. New Compressor. 9. New clutch. My problem is; What are your thoughts as to raising the roof with all that is in this bus already and how would I go about to make this possible? TIA Larry |

you can still raise roof with it insulated. you just cut it in windows and repair insulation after welding. bobtnbob |

Sounds just like the Eagle I looked at in Brentwood, NH. I thought the heavy oak floors were overkill and the headroom was not adequate. I went with an MC9. I did not want to do a roof raise and the MC9 has more headroom. Also...If its the same one...I think it has been sitting for a while, but I could be thinking of another bus. Something to ask the owner. When I looked at it, the dealer had it on consignment. Ross |
