I drug the bottom of the coach and cut a whole bunch of wires and two air lines. I have a ton of da books but not the rite one I guess. Don't know where the panels for the fuses are could anyone who knows a 4905 tell me where these panels are sure would help a bunch. Thanks ahead Larry | ||

Larry, U will have better luck just getting some connectors and air fittings and putting it back togather. If you don't shorten anything until you find its partner you can figure it out. Old as you are,(bus)its probably aeroquip steel on the air side. You can put that back, or use what is available in DOT plastic, its all good stuff but the aeroquip will die at about 15 years. Larry the only good thing about it I am home, have lots of time and had some phone calles that will help. The two air lines are plastic and lots of wires. Thank you so much Larryc for your post. I will post the conclusion when it is reached. 4905 larryd | ||

Larry, Where on the bus did you drag? I can't remember any air lines on mine that were exposed on the bottom of the coach. Could you post pictures? Can you also tell us what items are working or not working? Which electrical panel are you looking for? There is the panel above the engine, one in the air conditioning compressor area (just foreward of the radiator), the foreward bulkhead of the first bay on the passenger side (holds the voltage regulator). yep books are not going to help you...you should not be able to hit wires or air lines on a grounding, even a severe one. | ||

The grounding occured under the middle bay. I drug on a crosswise piece of angle and it just pinched two good sized looms of wires and two air lines,(plastic) maybe to camping leveling. Think these were changed when converted. I am thinking when wires broken may have blown fuses or whatever the bus has for brakers. Things that do not work is almost everything electric in driver compartment twelve and twentyfour volt items. Am getting wires spliced and will see tomoro what works. Larry, Hard to say what is going on there as none of that is OEM wiring. PO somewhere decided that was the easy way to run wires and airlines instead of in the tunnel that runs the roof of the bays where the stuff belongs. I would suspect that the terminus of the wires are at the original spots. Consult your maint manual's electrical section for the best advise | ||

Larry, this would be a great time to fix that poor design! If you can, move those lines into the tunnel above the bays. At least get those lines and wires into some metal conduit pipe with grommets at the exit and entry points. Good luck! Glenn | ||

Larry they probably tied in at left side of drivers panel see if your wires don't come up there you have some good advice on getting them up where they belong. LarryH |
