We expect to be back the evening of June 28th. I don't know if we'll get on line before then.

I'll look forward to catching up on posts when we return. I don't expect that we will go further east than the midwest.

I'm taking my 67 GMC transit out for it's first trans-con, from Santa Rosa, Ca. to Middleburg, Va. .
I came into Ca. on the southern route last year, and am outbound on the north and drop down at Denver and run 70 accross.
My beauty is in such great shape, only a couple of marker lights I have to get fixed.
I can't seem to find anyone who wants to park a 35 year old bus. My answer is to buy a piece of land down near Mojave, which is on a regular trail of mine from Bodega down to S. Cal..
I'm also an RVer and have a 26 foot trailer. The trasit is a shell. I'm bringing some of my stuff back and using it for storage.
Just doing a little improvising on the inside, nothing formal yet. Some friends of mine are comming back with me.
I've been having problems parking on the street, but that all will be over. I'll leave the coach in Va. on the family farm and fly back and set up something for the bus to be parked on.
Then I'll fly back and bring my friends out with
my junk.
I've been in love with these "fishbowls" since I was a kid. It's just a dream to be running around in one of these. It's going to be great fun figuring out what to do with the inside. There's no rush, and I have no real ambitions for it; I love it just the way it is.
It has lowered my insurance rates. It's tagged non-comercial. All I need is to get it placed, and my dream will be on easy street.
