John; I have a 4905 and the metal was so rusty that I had to take it off and put new alumimun from the top row of rivets to below the windows. If your steel is ok then shave or cut off the tops and when you put the new material on put a good adeshive and secure to the old with all the fastners approx the same. I used 090 alum.and predrilled 1/2" up and 1 1/2 between the rivet and sanded primed and installed then sanded primed again and finished the paint. It is quite a job but it was worth it in the long run because I got rid of the steel that was rusted very bad. If any help is needed just let us know. GOMER |
