Hey, anyone know where I can get 24 volt tail light bulbs here in Seattle. I need bulbs for my H8H-649.

Thanks in advance,

Jack

The big NAPA store in Charlotte NC had them in stock for me. Dunno if they have them in stock on the West Coast but it's worth a try.

Jack,

Did you ever rebuild your engine. If you did how did it turn out.

I have been lucky with NAPA on bulbs in CA. They might list them as 27 or 28 volt bulbs, so ask if they say they do not have 24's.

Jack -

Call any of the local charter bus outfits and ask for the shop. When they come on the line, ask them where they get their 24V stuff locally.

Having the bulb number will help the process, too.

Oh, and btw, some of those big, bright LED amber turn signals and red tail/brake lights you see on the skoolies around town are available in 24v. And they fit the OEM rear lights on your Buffalo! Might also check with a couple of local school district's transportation shop and ask them, too.

FWIW & THTH. . .

:-)

NAPA has bulbs but BIG $$$$. $5 to $6 a bulb!!! I order from https://www.bulbdirect.com/index.php

There ae more like it online, average bulb cost for generic $1 to $1.50. I make list from service manual of bulbs and order several at one time to cover minimum order and shipping. Then I always have spares. 5 bulbs NAPA = $25, 20 bulbs online $30 !!!! Long trip to NAPA, gas $4 trip back to NAPA cause they were not in stock and had to order, another $4 for gas! Convienance of haveing FedEx hand them to me priceless!!
