I put Equal in my tires and and not displeased with it. Can't really tell any benefit, but no apparent harm except that I'm concerned about a valve stem sticking and leaking air leading to a flat. Does anyone use Equal? There seems to be a filtered valve core that is used to avoid this situation. Anyone used them? Where would they be found? Thanks.

equal works but has drawbacks.
1. you do need to use the filtered valve stems. ( don;t know where to get them)
2. Equal does not like wet air, it makes the stuff clump up.
I prefer either Dynabeads or Centrimatic ballancers |

Many years ago I used Equal but at a tire seminar put on by Michelin they said if a sealer like Equal was used in their tires there was no warranty. It is supposed to wear away the sealing membrain on the inside of the tire and will evenually cause leaks. I removed it and installed Centra-matic wheel balancers. They work really well and no warranty problems.
