Joes, I am taking out my 8V71 this month from my MC7. It has less than 10k on an in-frame rebuild. I am in Plant City (near Tampa). My cell is 941-725-0636. Ben

Joe,
What brand bus? Left or right hand drive? I think i know where there is a right hand drive (out of an MC-7) in Fla. The owner just removed it from an MC and replaced it with a Cummins L-10. Jack

George -

If Joe was to install Norm's 4905 engine in his MC-9, he'd end up with four speeds in reverse and one go forward. . .

MC-9s need a RH engine.

GMC V-drives use LH engines.

FWIW & HTH. . .

:-)
