Looks like I'm going to have to change one of my front air bags on my 4104. It has already been converted from the old air beam, so is it a standard air bag that i will need? and where would I purchace it locally or from someone like Luke?

Geoff,

Standard air bags work fine, be sure to replace both while you have it apart-you won't regret it!! It is also a good idea to replace the old rubber bumpers with the new plastic type.

I got my 4104 bags and bumpers from Jefferson Bus in OKC because they seem to have the best prices around and are close to me.

Contact Ed at 800-813-9367, he really knows GMCs and is very helpful.

If your bolts are badly rusted, as they often are, you will need the longer bolts since you have plates installed.

If you haven't done this before be advised that the hardest part usually is getting the old rusted bolts off.

Gus,
Thanks for the info. I just wondered what the part # was for these bags or will I have to take the old ones off first?
