FYI
During our visit to california I had the challenge of having to replace a 671 head gasket.Whilist in the midst of dropping the re conned head on the block,I had problems getting it to lower.So I called the service manager who gave me the advice I needed,but before I hung up he told me to check for any green paint on the piston sleeve gasket coves,as DDA had recalled all gasket sets in april that had any green paint on top.It appears they have problems with these gaskets holding up.
Sure enough my set had green paint.So the dealer finding this out imeddiatly changed them out.
