Not in great shape, I guess. Sitting 13 years but ran when parked. Rust under windows above siding (deep, but not holes yet) and some on engine door (hole at bottom.) Was converted to RV professionally in the '60's (wiring and plumbing) but most sitting disconnected as the interior didn't work for our lifestyle and was removed. Seat good. Floor still bilevel. Most running lights and interior were working. We drove it from California through Nevada , up through WA to OR in summer. But, it has been sitting in the rain since then. Started up once a few years ago with the help of two batteries and idled without cutting out and sounded good. With the big scoop on top, rain might have gotten into engine by now-not really sure. Not sure if there is rust underneath. Been told front symbol and aluminum siding might be worth more than the bus itself....any advice? Interior and exterior photos available to your email. Not sure how to post here-I'm getting an error message.

Not sure about worth question. Are you a member of the FLX Yahoo Group? You might get better answers there.

Error message might mean the file is too large, try resizing them.

Where are you located?

A post back from the Flx site

Looks pretty sad. 13 years in the soggy Oregon weather probably rusted
it out badly in the frame underneath too. Figure it's worth a few
hundred $ maybe $1000 tops. A non-running bus is very un atractive to
buyers due to the tremendous costs of transporting such a hulk. It
would be more attractive to a local buyer within 100 miles. Cost of
transport could easily be more than the parts/ scrap value of the bus.
This Clipper is an "Airporter" noted by the lack of the front
destination sign. I salvaged a '46 Airporter here in Tx with the
assistance of George Fields. Cost me $150 to have it moved 35 miles.
Best if a local Flx person went and looked it over to assess wether it
is parts or restorable, particularly the under carriage rust. Theres a
Flx owner in Eugene, Virgil Hogan, with a '71 Flx Transit, that might
be willing to look at your bus and give an assessment.

I would check the current scrap price . I just had to scrap a 1968 flexible transit. Total $$$$$ was about $3000.00
