Andy, you don't need one there is not that many water loops in a conversion they cost over a $100.00 if you buy 1 built and they take up space it does look nice but it is not for me another place for leaks |

Andy, I did use a Manablock - manifold with my pex water system... I liked the idea of straight runs to each tap and I want the ease of adding a washer / dryer later on, as well as on the wish list is an outside shower and sink for those extended camping / fishing trips... just my opinion... thankfully I haven't had leaks there - other then my own made one when I cross threaded one of the connectors. Hope this helps. John |

Andy I made a manifold for the hot and one for cold with a shutoff oneach outlet, out of pvc pipe made real handy. Also put a shut off at the end of each pipe. Very easy to make, put them them in bay with hot watter tank.Sure nice to work with when testing pipes. Have had no leaks. 4905Larry |

Andy, you can get outside the box with a water system, mine is a little different than most I have 2 loops 1 for kitchen and washing machine and 1 for bathroom area the and outside bay I have a separate water pumps for each loop this way I have no pressure drop when using the shower and my wife is washing or doing dishes (hated that).the manifold would be good if you have a leak on 1 of the fixtures and I don't know if they have a drain valve or not the ones I have seen could not have unless water flows uphill. Are you still living here in the west good luck I changed over to the smart sensor pumps if you need water pumps I will ship you a couple of 3.5 correction Andy they 2.8 pumps (Message edited by luvrbus on August 16, 2008) (Message edited by luvrbus on August 16, 2008) (Message edited by luvrbus on August 16, 2008) |

Clifford , I moved my 20 gal water heater to the second bay , That way I have more room in my utility room , right now I have two holding tanks and Generator in the third bay. Iam going to enclose the gen so I can draw outside air I have a radaitor in the front of the Bus that tied into the gen cooling system. having said that by moving the water heater over onr bay I gain more room in the utility bay . And yes we living in miles city MT , We leased a house. with a shop and room for the Bus. If you ever get this way You are welcome .Oh I have two 2.8 pumps myself but thanks. |

Andy I made a manifold out of some ball valves. I like the idea of being able to turn off each run individually. My thought is what happens if you develop a leak in a place you can't get at. Rather than ruin your whole trip you can turn off that run and wait util you get home to fix it. Had my system for 5 years and have not had to use it. Go figure. |

The Pro side of the Pex system of tiny individual water lines is less water wait for hot at a tap. The Con side is its far harder to winterize , and the tubing may not be light pruf , so may allow green stuff to grow in long stored water, not usually a house problem. FF |

We used CPVC pipe for all our fresh water plumbing. 10' lengths of rigid 1/2" pipe with shut-off valves at each appliance. Very economical and easy to work with. We ran the pipes on the wall inside the cabinets at a slight angle so that all lines slope down to a common low point with a ball valve. This makes draining the system very easy. Open the ball valves and the faucets, your done. Drain system only requires removing and dumping P traps or filling with RV antifreeze. Jack |

Clifford When I built my tanks I welded in a fitting and attached a ball valve I can empty my tank there. As for the pictures I just learned to turn on the computer a year ago and now you want me to send pictures. I got a book full of them you will have to come to Colorado to see them. Thank You Wayne |

Clifford, If you are able to make it to TBR, I'll be glad to go over any computer stuff that I know with ya. Then you could share it with Wayne at the Branson Eagle Rally! Cause we can't go, sniff, sniff. Did you beg off the jury thing yet? |
