Hey Guys I have discovered that one of the relays on my 80 Eagle must be going bad. It "clicks" and causes the lights to slightly blink. I went to the NAPA parts house today to see if they had one. The number on it is 969-12V and is a Delco-Remy brand. They could not find such an animal. Do any of you have any experience with this and if so, is there a cross-reference or where might I be able to get one of these things? |

When it clicks what is it doing. Is it going open or closed. It could be going open because the bracker opened because of a short. I have had this problem in the past and it was because of a short. you need to find out why it is going click. Jack |

There is an advertiser at the top of this page you might try. |

I too have had a ticking relay (Eagle 15). It was just what Jack describes, a misconnected wire causing the self resetting breaker to cycle. Sounded like a turn signal flasher. By the way, those ads are selected by the content of the thread. |
