This is probably a stupid question but here it goes. I have a 4 burner stove top. It's brand new, the manual is for a few different models. It says MOST stove tops are set up for natural gas but are convertable to propane. It says I need to change the orifice that is supplied. However there isn't a orfice supplied. the reguelator has both LP nad NG on it. Can I hook up and go? How do I know which orfice it has? What happens if I were to try it?

What I would do in this situation is take the stovetop to an LP dealer, not like 7/11 where they fill tanks. But someone that does service, installations, ect. You can find dealers in the phone book.
They can tell at a glance if it is the right or wrong one, if not they should have the right ones in stock.

I just installed one that sounds close to yours, I had to unscrew the regulator and turn it over so the lp was ablt to be read. Hope this helps

If it's brand new, contact the mfr and talk to their tech support. Ask if there is a local factory-authorized repair place to take it to. If is has NO orifices, have them send the right ones.

Thanks a lot guys, once again you all have helped me. This building a bus has had quite the lessons along the way. I didn't have any luck with any of the dealers, seems like once it is sold your on your own. However I did get a hold of a service department that is mailing out what they believe is the proper conversion kit. They did say that this particular stove doesn't have a conversion kit listed. Thanks again.
