We had a great time inspite of the appearance of Ike.

Thanks John,

It's not finished, but it's far better than before.

An old Texas saying "A little powder and paint will make a girl what she aint".

We had a great time, it just goes so fast. At least our Eagle is usable now for short runs. The longer ones will have to wait until I win the Lotto. :-)

The best part is the ole Eagle gave us nothing but pleasure, no problems whatsoever.

Bob and Sandi Gilbert was there with their Eagle. He just finished changing his 4 speed for a 10 speed Road Ranger. Something I'm thinking of doing at some point.

Get out and enjoy your coach even if it's not finished. What a trip!

That was a hoot of a good time. These folks are ALL fun to be around. What a great learning experience.

Speaking of which... Kenneth's RAT changed homes during the night. We stayed a day or so longer and finally "glued" the rat to a trap. Ever heard of such a thing? It worked great. We left the rat behind the next morning and moved on to Lightfoot COE in MO where we Connected to the internet again -- even though the rat chewed through half of my computer cables. Why do they have to do such things?

Oh well -- who said, "That's busing!"?

Paul, great pictures (tho I need a hat bad) and thanks again for coordinating the thing.

Fortunatley Randy took Ben out of the bus before I saw it, but it sounds like he could have given your cat a good tussle! UHG! Had a great time everyone...thanks for the fun. I enjoyed the photos here too.

So, how big WAS he? I guess too big for those mouse traps we picked up? Ewwwww.

I'm afraid all Dallas was looking for that weekend was a good chin scratching. He considered that his "fee" for letting anyone come in and see the coach! Christy

I failed to take a picture of Mr. Rat while is was glued down. My bad. However, I seriously think that if Sue saw what had been on the counter I would be replacing solid cherry with some other material at this very moment just to ensure it was clean again.

Christy, the mouse traps would have snapped at this guys foot and he would have simply shrugged it off with a laugh.

The glue trap was 10 inches long and 4 wide. Mr. Rat crawled all the way across it (dah!) and laid slightly curled from one end to the other. Only his tail stuck out. His tail was striking the window blinds as he struggled to free himself. That's what woke me up. Later, even his tail got stuck and that's when I relized if Sue saw this she would move out.

Hey -- wait a minute... um...

Hi Andy,

Glad you are home and arrived safely.

Yip we had a great one for sure. You just gotta bring your Eagle down for a visit someday.

Take Care My Friend,

Paul
