I have 12v headlights in My MC-9 and would like to convert my taillights to 12v.What do I need to do.

Barry you can buy 24 volt bulbs in quanity cheaper than converting, however, you can use a resistor in the circuit to reduce the voltage,wire in series another set of bulbs so you can safely run 24 volts, If updating to LED lights you must specify 24 volts. I wired in a double set of lights[in series] and they worked fine until one burns out and then you loose 2 lights. On my mci-8 I bought on-line quantity of ALL the bulbs I needed for a little more each that 12 volts ones.

Barry,
My .02 is that if you have a 24vdc system keep the lights 24vdc. I understand the convenience of having 12vdc but if you want to "convert" go with 24vdc LED's and then you will not have any worries.
