I checked the wiring against the diagrams, and not sure if the stop light switch selenoid is working properly but occassionally they work just fine . By the way it is an 1984 Eagle10, any ideals guys. Thanks in advance

Mike,
Check the hinge pin on the brake pedal,It can become corroded and freeze on slightly keeping just enough air in the system to activate the pressure switch for the brake lites.Happened to me and I spent three days looking for the problem that a shot of WD-40 cured.Hope yours is this simple.-Donn
